About the theme

The Department of Infrastructure & Transport collects and manages various types of data with respect to mobility, such as traffic information, traffic routes or bus stops. In addition, we maintain contact with organizations that provide further relevant information, such as TNO, Amsterdam, 9292 and TomTom. In the past year, the Department of Infrastructure & Transport made progress regarding the opening of data. The Department sees many possibilities when it comes to applications such as route planners for the shortest or greenest routes to a location. To make this possible, good apps and smart APIs are needed, that use real-time information and increase the accessibility of information.
